I have a tear in my eye as I write this post, this will be our last project of this Design Team Term. Hopefully I will be back after the holidays. However, before we wrap up this term we have one last fantastic project, just in time for the holidays.

This week we got a great file with 4 gift holder files, I was excited to get this project because I give a lot of gift cards for Christmas so I will get a lot of use out of this one, and it of course was super easy to use, and was fun to decorate!

I hope you enjoy what I made, please make sure to check out what the other girls did at DtsArt blog and if you want to purchase this file please go here.

DtsArt Blog Hop! With How to make layered Freezer T-shirt Viedo.

Wow can you believe I've been designing for DtsArt or 8 months now! Where has the time gone? Its been an amazing journey with Dardi and the other designers at DtsArt.com. We've worked with some fantastic cut files and I've had so much fun sharing with all of you along the way. Who remembers my 1st project the Bunny Layout, or the pin wheel Birthday card or how about that cute little spinning red bird and the blue little panda. Oh there have been so many great ones along the way, one I think I got a lot of questions and comments about was the Monkey onesie and people wanted to know how I did the layers.

So I've put together a video of how I paint the layers with the freezer paper. Its a little long, I tried to edit it where I could so I hope its not to long and still makes sense! Here it is Enjoy! (after you watch continue to scroll down there are more goodies below!)

Was told you’ve been good this year
Always glad to hear it
With freezing weather drawing near
You’ll need to warm the spirit
So here’s a little Santa Soup
Complete with stirring stick
Add hot water, sip it slow
It’s sure to do the trick!

DtsArt Desgin team. Candy Corn Peeps

This week I'm guest designing on the other design team at DtsArt. I had to guest design when I saw these cute little Candy Corn Peeps. I already had plans to make these little pal center peaces and I thought these little Candy Corn Peeps would just look perfect in the Candy Corn pal that I had. I will be posting the other pals I made below.

Now I know I'm always bragging about how easy and great the cut falls are from DtsArt, but after doing these pals and using cut files from another site I truly can say that Dardi does an amazing job of making her cut files perfect. Everything is split by color, you don't have to go into ink scape and try to split files further or cut things in multiple colors to get all your pieces. Also you can put all the pieces on the mat and make them the size you want and they all fit correctly. I've had files where this is not the case and resizing is a nightmare! I know it takes Dardi a long time to put these files together and its clear why they are clean and easy to use!!!

Please make sure you check out every one's projects at DtsArt Blog and here to purchase.

Here are some close ups of my little Candy Corn peeps.

Halloween Centerpieces

Halloween Centerpieces. I made these cute little centerpieces to spice up our waiting room and group room at work. I found the buckets at target and the cut files are from myscrapchick.com. I found the cut files are really cute but they were not as easy to use as I wish they were...

I like to decorate the office I work in to give it a welcoming and homey feel so for the back to school season I made 2 of these little center pieces and a crayon wreath. They have been a huge hit.

DtsArt Desgin team. Milk Carton!

This week we got a wonderful Milk carton cut file with holder.  It came with a few options so please make sure to check out the other designers to see all the options! Files like these usually scare me but I have to say this was the easiest file I have ever worked with. You just import it into SCAL and cut, no need to play with size, everything is scored with were to fold and its just plan simple.

To spice it up I cut it out of last years Stampin Up fall patterned paper. Then decorated it with Leaves cut with Leaves #2 Big shot die, and stamped with Days of Gratitude.

Please make sure you check out DtsArt blog to see all this weeks projects, and to Purchase

A couple more pictures, just because I love this project so much!

This week we were given a file full of fun Swirl Frames to play with, I just happened to have a layout sketch sitting on my desk that I wanted to play with and I thought these frames would be perfect. I ended up using 2 of the 5 frames. One blown up and one used very small. Here is my Layout, I hope you all Like it.

3. Punch 1" Circle between 0.5" and 1.5" it should just over lap the 1.5" line.

Basic Gray marker

For the Vampire Owl I used 2 petals to make his cape. I added some fangs with a gel pen.

For the Ghost owl I just flipped one owl upside down and trimmed the feet off and you have a ghost. I also punched one out of orange to have some orange little feet sticking out. I decided to trim the ears off but you could also leave them on if you wanted to.

For Frankenstein. I used the candle from the cupcake punch to make bolts. I also cut a petal from early espresso and then cut it down until I liked it to make his hair.

They were all pretty simple but fun to make!

Baby Onesies

This is the baby onesie I had made a video of to show how to do the layers. Unfortunately I used a new digital video camera that my FIL got and when I uploaded it to my computer the sound was awful and its in a form that I can't edit :(... So I'm going to make a new video to share with everyone but wanted to post this onesie as I think it came our really cute.

Little Boy Baby Onesies

My BFF just had a little boy and I wanted to make him something special, so I came up with these cute little onesies. I built the files in SCAL and then cut them out of freezer paper and painted them. I will have a video up soon for those of you who have asked me how I layer the colors.

A couple of just tidied onesies:

Simple Stampin Up Card Kit

As I get a new stampin up club up and running its time to get back in the swing of putting together kits for my club members. I wanted to send them a fun and easy one  with their welcome kit and the new pear stamp found in the set Faith in Nature, that you can earn with host Dollars inspired me! Here is what I came up with:

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Faith in Nature (Host set from '11-'12 catalog)

Paper: Early Espresso
Island Indigo
Very Vanilla

Ink: Early Espresso

Other: Champagne Glimmer Brads
Scissors.

I roughed up the edges by running my scissors down the edges and then curled over the corners of the island indigo to give it a little pop.

Door Hanger

I made this door hanger for one of my NSSS awhile back and haven't had a chance to post it. I absolutely love how it came out.
