This is a project I've been meaning to post for awhile now but haven't had a chance to. A couple of months ago my DH and I finally replaced our food cabinet that didn't make our move last fall so successfully. When we were putting the new one together my husband got a little heavy handed and put one of the pegs all the way through so we had to come up with away to cover it up.
I decided I would finally do the chalk board paint that I've been dieing to do since I saw it on trading spaces so many years ago! While I was at target I found these coffee decals so I added them to the edge to add a little more.
Here is a picture of it all dressed up for our Christmas Party.
This is so much fun...I have been wanting to do something like that in our kitchen but Matt would kill me...I am serously doing it to the back of the kids bedroom doors though

ReplyDeleteHave fun with the kitchen remodel. When I bought the paint it had a little thing in it with different pictures and in one kitchen they had painted it on the from of the kitchen cabinets and then drew what was in the cabinet it looked neat.
