Wedding Layout - For WWTC

Hi Ladies. Well it’s been awhile since I’ve worked on my own wedding album so I thought what a better way to get back in the swing of things then to make a Layout to share on wedding with the cricut. I’ve seen a few wedding layouts with the title “forever starts now” and I’ve been wanting to use this title in my album, I thought it was perfect for the pictures of us leaving the church. So here it is:

Close ups of the pages individually:

The background paper is from K&Company and is from the Black and Ivory Fusion Stack. The little strips on the bottom of page one, are from Me&my Big Ideas Mambi color basics in red and in black and white.

Details:

I used the opposites Attract cart for the title. “Forever” was cut at 2.5” with all the features off. Sorry I’m not sure where this paper is from it was a scrap I had, I think its DCWV but not sure which stack.

I cut the top note using Accent Essentials, its Shift - Accent 48 I cut this at 6.5 inches. The paper is Stampin’ up’s Very Vanilla. I didn’t like the starkness of the paper, so I took a sponge and using Stampin’ up ink in real red I made a swirl motion on the paper, then I dabbed around the edges to make them darker.

“Starts now” was also cut with Opposites Attract at 2” on the Opposite feature. Again I used Stampin’ up’s Very Vanilla paper and thought it needed more so I used some Martha Stewart stamps that said “love me, kiss me, and XOXOX” to give the paper a pattern. I just randomly stamped these on the paper. To do the shadow I used Stampin’ up’s Basic Black.

Cards

Here are some cards I made tonight, while playing with some new stamps that I got. All of them are colored with water color crayons. I didn't put any sentiments on them as I don't have a use for them yet so I figured I would leave them blank until I need them for something.

Finished another wedding layout!

I finished another layout last night and I think this maybe one of my favorites so far. I had a lot of pictures I wanted to get on here so I really had to play with size and try to figure out how to get them all one. In the end I had to leave a few off because they didn't really fit but I love the 23 that I have one there!
Here comes the Bride was cut from the sweethearts cartridge at 4" I believe???
The tag was also from the Sweethearts cartridge and that I cut at 6.25" But I trimmed off part of the end and used my corner round to make the edges match.
A close up of the tag. I'm really liking the printed journaling I may have to do this more often. To do this I first printed it on card stock and then I put it in the cricut and moved my blade to the middle of the journaling and set the center point and then cut at 6.25". Before I cut the final product I used a scrap piece of paper to make sure I had the blade lined up in the right spot and to make sure I was cutting it big enough.

Wedding Layout

Here's another wedding Layout. I started this one a while ago and had the pictures all glued down, and I knew what I wanted as a title however, it still took me several weeks to get the title cut and glued on. The title for this layout was perfect. A couple months before the weeding I changed my ring tone for my dear hubby to "We're goin to the chapel", so every time he called that song played. On our wedding day I was strict with Mike that I didn't want to see him before the wedding, so he must have called me a 100 X's that day. Every time the phone rang, my girls and I sang along with "we're goin to the chapel, and we're gonna get ma-a-arried!

Here are a couple close ups:

Calenders and note pads

I found these great svg files for these little magnetic calenders. I had been wanting to try them and thought they would be perfect as RAK gifts for some of my Not so secret sisters.
This one I did for my space. I used tote-ally tess from SU for the picture on top. A close up of Tess.
The note pads and calenders I did for my sisters:

Another wedding lo

Here is another LO I did from my wedding pictures

Sorry the 1st photo isn't the best. Some of the pictures my photographer gave me and they have a odd finish to them that my camera does not like.

Hair & Makeup

I stayed up late last night working on this lo, and then finished it this morning. I got my inspiration from this weeks LID sketch. The font is from Story book and the loopy things I did with the ms punch. The flowers are called Dahlia flowers, I found this great blog with all kinds of flower tutorials. http://www.scrap-a-little.com/2009/07/dahlia-flower-tutorial.html

Flower girl Album

We got married on 9/13/08 and our flower girl was just a cutie! For months after the wedding all she talked about was that day so as a late Christmas gift I made her this Album to remember that day for the rest of her life.
